A day
laborer is a person who does heavy unskilled work & gets his wages at the
end of the day. He renders manual labor & so has to be healthy, strong
& stout. A day laborer is usually employed in agricultural fields or
construction work. He works there from dawn to dusk. If he can get any work to
do, he gets money to feed the mouths dependent on him. If he fails to do any
work, he has to remain unfed with the members of his family. During the sowing
& harvesting season he has in great demand. Since he has many children,
they often suffer from various diseases & malnutrition. We should have soft
feeling for them & do whatever we can to raise their standard of living.
